Comments:
Though
it may seem weird to be a member of KUS without having run an ultra, I am on my
way! I am fascinated and infatuated
with running and especially ultra distances.
I have found so much encouragement and information being a part of the
KC Trail Nerds email group that I wanted to support and join KUS. In the past six months I have lost 75 pounds
thanks to running and appropriate eating.
Transforming me from a calorie dump into an endurance machine is a
journey I am enjoying. Though I have
only been able to be electronically part of the community I have been enriched
by it and will be more involved in person as I am able.
My
first Ultra will be the new 50k at Lake Perry in October 2007.
